omfg this game is amazing!! even if it's just the demo, everything about it is so well done, the mix of horror and romance is just chef kiss, and the art style??! stunning!!! love everything about this game!! can't wait for it to be realeased.
I could be wrong but I think a woman RO was unlocked in the bonus goals of the Kickstarter? but the bonus ROs are not in the current demo to my knowledge. also as someone else said, the PC is gender-selectable and one of the main ROs is nonbinary.
I am a bit disappointed that i played this and there has been no updates. Will it be fully released? It is a beautiful game but i need to know when they are actually going to finish it
This was a game launched on kickstarter so development updates are sent to KS backers. Although i think if you sign up to their mailing list, you can get updates that way as well ^_^
I don't think there's a release date yet but if i'm to guess based on when KS rewards are going to start rolling out, i'd say 2026-ish at the earliest
Well, when they first announced the game, they were saying that it was supposed to come out next year (2025), and they are pretty active on Twitter, so I want to believe they will actually finish it <-<
Blown away. Definitely feels like a game made by veteran developers. Unbelievably good, well written, beautiful graphics, the story flows easily. Such a tremendous joy to read something so polished, and it is only a demo.

I can't I'm still mentally attached to thiss ahhh I can't put into words the amount of admiration I have for Ais. like oh my gosh. the writing in the story, the art, all a masterpiece. normally I don't like story?? immersed fantasy games cause I have a bad imagination and tend to not understand the plot but this one was so clear and well-written! I'll patiently wait till the full game comes out! although it would be a little selfish to ask for a game to be free, it would be so cool! but I guess I won't mind to pay for this masterpiece of a game, I'm too attached! , OH and one more thing, maybe I suggest fixing the title page in the demo, I was completely mind blown with the transition of quality from the starting page to the actual game, I mean it in a good way
The art background... I don't know if it will be improved later, or if it's a choice to have a plain background but it's really a letdown because the content is good, the characters and places look interesting, but as a player, when you see background art that lack shadow, contrasts, colors, lifeless... It does not highlight the game.
We don't even need to have detailed background, some otome (like Obscura that only has a demo too) have sometimes kinda blurred art, but dark colors, dark themes, and it creates so much atmosphere. It creates an identity. That are the words I was looking for.
Exemple below : don't get me wrong, it's good art, it's good BG CG, but it can be improved ? it lacks of relief, depth in the colors ? It's colored perfectly but something's missing. If someone understands what I mean, please help haha
I was astonished by the trailer, couldn't wait to try the demo, and I feel a tad disapointed by that. Of course, I'm just expressing my opinion, maybe it's just a question of taste afterall, and if the style was made on purpose, a choice of the makers, I understand and I fully accept it. If it was not, then take it as something that can definitly be improved because the backgrounds will give your game more life.
Also, I will definitely buy the game when it will be out !
I think the backgrounds are bitmaps, made with the idea of being infinitely zoomable, however because of this it is much harder to make them detailed. I personally think the backgrounds are amazing, and from a creative standpoint the art real fits the style of the game imo.

They all have cool unique personalities and I am so here for all of it. THE STORY LINE?? ARE YOU ACTUALLY SHITTING ME??? <SO GOOD>. I want more of this game. I need more of this game. take it to steam, take it to PS4, switch- Mac (please Mac) I just- this is my new obsession and I think the developers could make BUKUS of money..um this is just beautiful, great job to the writers, developers, everyone who had a hand in this game-you're all amazing oh my god. I'm not even kidding ya'll. Download the demo you have nothing to lose.

The only thing I'd think make it even better is it there was an in-game encyclopedia or something, telling more about the world, locations, and the terminology.
This visual novel, which I have fallen absolutely in love with, has some similar yet darker vibes to When The Night Comes by Lunaris Games. These little similarities to WTNC pulled me in deeper than I imagined it would when I started.
Oh, me neither! I think it will be well worth the wait. (I just see a lot of people asking in the comments and noticed this page did not get an updated release date :p)
Of course, if they're taking long it's for a reason, and it will be worth the wait. I wonder if it would take one extra-year because they reached every goal on their kickstarted so they'll have to add things to the game
This is my impression of the beggining: amazing art, great sound design, an atmospheric albeit generic at times soundtrack but it has the kind of mc i hate the most in a VN. Too big for their britches and too quick to do something foolish. Instead of taking heed from the characters around them, they walk head first into danger for no good reason. Since they've managed to reach the city, they ought to know a thing or two about self-preservation and how carelessness isn't beneficial, especially given how the opening scene shows how perilous the journey really was. Yet, they continue to be thick headed and continue on very dangerous choices, whether to go to the place everyone that has helped them has said is unbenifical/dangerous or reacting in ways that felt unbeffitting as someone who is need of help(quick to anger over trivalties/quick to assume instead of realizing they're the outsider and can't expect much authority). I hope that in the full release the player will have more control over the MC's actions so that I might be able to go "Yeah you're right, I'm new here and you would know better than me about avoiding that place" or "yeah let's not follow the obviously creepy lady, even if she has the snake oil i need". I do understand that this is the epilogue and the way for us, the player, to be introduced to all the characters, but man was it frustrating since first introductions are pivitol, even on the MC's part. It made me feel like I wasn't interacting with the characters but some other entity was. I will say that as the story progresses, it seems that your own sense of the character starts shining through, but I haven't played enough to say for certain (i've just arrived at the part where you can choose who you want to spend the rest of the night with after the drinking with everyone at the Wet Wick). Nonetheless, this really is just me harping on about a character architype/trope I dislike and the actual game is quite compitent with plenty of male leads to suit your fancy

Game was so good

It kept crashing my PC which can usually handle most games, and has a large amounts of space. It's about the 5th time I've restarted it.

Delete the game and reinstall it maybe???
to help the developers, maybe list your pc specifications. I.e. Mobo, cpu, ram, gpu. Every bit of info can help them mate.

I finished the demo and I love Ais and Leander !!
But there is ONE downside :
